What time does the gate open and rodeo start?
Gates open at 7:30 am; Registration will close at 9:00 am; and Rodeo begins at 9:30 am. |

How many All-Around Events are there?
All events in the Junior and Senior Division county toward the All Around Award. (Pee Wee Division events are not eligible) |

What is new in awarding points for All-Around events?
Every participate receives a minimum of 2 points for each All-Around event as long as they attempt the event (scratches will not receive any points). |

Why are arm bands required for some of the rough stock events?
Once the vest is on, arena workers cannot see the back number and this confirms who the participant is. |

Do I have to enter all events marked "All Around" to be eligible for that award?
No ... however, more events equals more points. |

What is the tie-breaker event for the All-Around awards?
Arena Race is now the tie-breaker for the All-Around award(s) for any category since more people compete in this event than in Pole Bending. |

Is there an age limit for bull riding?
No, bull riding is open to all ages, but LBR recommends that children be at least 9 years old since these are 1000 lb steers. |

Do I have to send in separate payments for Queen/Princess contest and rodeo registration?
Yes, please send one check with your rodeo event registration to the address in Grady, Ala. and another for the queen/princess pageant to the address in Orrville, Ala. |

Is the calf roping tie down or breakaway?
Three calves are turned loose in the arena with the contestants. Each contestant must have his/her own rope and gloves. The first contestant to rope a calf and secure it to the outside arena fence is the winner. |

Since my daughter is registered for the rodeo events and the Queen/Princess contests, can I send in ONE release form?
No, even if a girl is registered in events she has to have another release form for the pageant. |

Who signs the form(s) if a relative/guardian will be with the child during the rodeo and not the parent?
The parent should sign the pre-registration form even if a relative/guardian will be attending the rodeo with the child. |
